Auto billing is required. This means that you must leave a card on file. If you are unable to leave a card on file, you must pay a month's tuition as a deposit. This deposit will be placed in your account to cover late fees, returned check fees, and unpaid costume fees. Any balance of the deposit left over at the end of the year will be posted to the last month's tuition.
3. Any account unpaid after the 5th of the month, including declined auto drafts, will be assessed a $15 late fee. There will be a $25 fee charged for checks returned due to insufficient funds.
4. We do not send out monthly invoices. You may view your account and make payments online at any time by logging into our customer portal on our website
www.woodstockdance.com.
5. Tuition for dance is based on an annual fee for 38 weeks of classes (dance photo week and dress rehearsal for the recital count as classes). This annual fee is divided into 9.5 payments (December tuition is half price). No refunds or credits will be given for unattended classes. Please refer to the make up policy for missed lessons.
6. Tuition for music is grouped in sets of (4) lessons, except in December which is grouped in a set of (2) lessons. Dress rehearsal for the Spring Recital will count as a lesson. The studio show will count as a music lesson. Please refer to the make up policy for missed lessons.
7. The following fees are nonrefundable: Registration Fee, Costume Fee (once the order has been placed), and Recital Tickets.
8. Costume Fees for dancers participating in the Spring Recital (which will be held Saturday, May 14th, 2016) will be split evenly and due with October and November tuition. Pre K-Primary costumes are $60 and Junior-Teen costumes are $70. Any costumes that are not paid in full by November 5th will incur an additional $15 shipping fee.
9. There is not a recital fee, but you will need to purchase recital tickets. Tickets are $9 each. Families will automatically be charged for 2 tickets in March. Additional tickets will be available for purchase in April.
Make Ups and Cancellations
1. Make ups for Music Students
Music students may only make up (1) absence per semester (Fall: August-December, Spring: January-May)
2. Make ups for Dance Classes
If you miss a lesson during the months of August - February you may make it up in any other similar level class. Make ups will not be permitted starting in March as each class will be rehearsing heavily for their particular recital dance.
3. Teacher cancellations
Any lessons cancelled by the teacher will be rescheduled.
4. Weather related closings
We will send out emails, change our outgoing phone message, and update our Facebook page with any closings due to weather. Dancers may make up missed lessons in any other similar level class. Music students will have their missed lesson rescheduled by their instructor.
Withdrawal
We hate to see you go, but if you need to withdraw for any reason you are required to give 30 days notice via Dance and Music Academy's Withdrawal Form (forms can be picked up at the office or online under 'Parent Info'). I understand that it will not be sufficient notice to merely tell an instructor or supervisor, leave a voice-mail, or send an e-mail of my intent to discontinue.
You are responsible for tuition and any late fees during the 30 day notification period. If the withdrawal form is not submitted, you will continue to be billed and are responsible for tuition and late fees.
