A graduate of Kennesaw State University, Virginia has lived in the Woodstock area for over 20 years and has trained since the age of 12 in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Tumbling and Hip Hop. During her early years, she performed throughout the Atlanta area in Light the World Parade, Atlanta's Thanksgiving Night of Hope and at Six Flags Over Georgia. In addition to her time in Metro Atlanta, she also trained under Randall Flinn in Houston, Texas with Dance Ad Deum. Having performed dozens of pieces, her favorite role is the Pas De Quatre from Swan Lake. With her technical and creative background paving the way, her choreography won top awards at regional competitions. Virginia has taught at DMA since 2009 and as the Assistant Director it is her ongoing goal to get to know each family personally, enrich their experience with performing arts, and to ensure that each year that a family chooses to spend at DMA is enjoyable, seamless, and memorable.
